ZEBRA TARANTULA

APHONOPELMA SEEMANNI

The Zebra Tarantula is a striking spider with bold black-and-white striped legs. Adults can grow 4–5 inches across and live up to 10 years in captivity. These nocturnal hunters emerge at night to feed on insects and small invertebrates.

They are burrowers, hiding in underground tunnels or abandoned burrows during the day. They sense prey and danger through vibrations and can flick tiny barbed hairs or show their fangs when threatened.

Despite their fierce appearance, Zebra Tarantulas are calm and popular pets because of their unique patterns.
